EEA Data Flows Standard Representation project¶
Introduction¶

Why this project?
- To analyse, describe and compare EEA reporting data flows using standard notation, in collaboration with relevant data stewards and custodians.
- To maintain, update and improve the applied data flow analysis methodological approach (notation, interview sheets, sharing and archiving).
- To identify opportunities for data flow streamlining and contribute to their transition to Reportnet 3.0.
How are we carrying out this project?
- Identify all main steps in your data flow (activities, inputs and outputs, tools, platforms, actors, products).
- Structure them in four phases (Preparation, Submission, Post-processing, Products) and describe the different steps using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) version 2.0.
- Meet with data stewards and custodians to share information and provide feedback.
