Identify and inactivate RSS feeds that are no longer active
We execute the "update-bise-feeds" action once every hour, which searches for feeds through the bise portal.
At the moment we have the following feeds:
['feeds/newseurope/cost => http://www.cost.esf.org/rss/feed/news', 'feeds/newseurope/eu-chm => http://biodiversity-chm.eea.europa.eu/portal_syndication/lateststories_rdf', 'feeds/newseurope/life => http://ec.europa.eu/environment/life/rss/life.xml', 'feeds/newseurope/euractiv => http://www.euractiv.com/en/tag/biodiversity', 'feeds/newseurope/eea => http://www.eea.europa.eu/themes/biodiversity/highlights/highlights_topic/RSS', 'feeds/newseurope/scales => http://www.scales-project.net/rss/rss20_news.php', 'feeds/newseurope/iisd => http://biodiversity-l.iisd.org/category/regions/europe/feed/', 'feeds/newseurope/ec => http://ec.europa.eu/environment/integration/research/newsalert/rss/biodiversity.xml', 'feeds/newsworld/cbd => http://www.cbd.int/rss/headlines.aspx', 'feeds/newsworld/iucn => http://cms.iucn.org/rss/rss.cfm?85CDEA01-1E0B-4DBE-4096515A8FBB13B4', 'feeds/newsworld/wcmc => http://www.unep-wcmc.org/', 'feeds/newseurope/bise => http://biodiversity.europa.eu/news/aggregator/RSS', 'feeds/newschm/chm-hu => http://www.biodiv.hu/portal_syndication/selected_news', 'feeds/newschm/chm-fr => http://biodiv.mnhn.fr/portal_syndication/whatsnew_rdf', 'feeds/newschm/chm-nl => http://en.biodiversiteit.nl/portal_syndication/whatsnew_rdf', 'feeds/newschm/chm-de => http://de.chm-cbd.net/portal_syndication/whatsnew_rdf', 'feeds/newschm/chm-be => http://www.biodiv.be/portal_syndication/whatsnew_rdf', 'feeds/national-chm-info-on-protected-areas/countries-protected-areas-be => http://www.biodiv.be/portal_syndication/chm_terms?term=Protected%20areas&lang=en', 'feeds/national-chm-info-on-protected-areas/countries-protected-areas-nl => http://en.biodiversiteit.nl/portal_syndication/chm_terms?term=Protected%20areas&lang=en', 'feeds/national-chm-info-on-protected-areas/countries-protected-areas-ro => http://biodiversitate.mmediu.ro/portal_syndication/chm_terms?term=Protected%20areas&lang=en']
From time to time some feeds become or are moved to another location. For example the first item in the list, http://www.cost.esf.org/rss/feed/news
We should identify feeds that are no longer available and deactivate their fetching. We should identify feeds that were moved and update the Plone site to their proper location.
Note: this is a site administrator responsibility, possibly made easier by developing a view to automatically check the feeds (once every 24 hours) and send an email report if there's any problems.

- Status changed from Accepted in Queue to WIP-debt: Needs clarifications
- % Done changed from 0 to 70
- The CHM DE feed is gone and I couldn't come up with an alternative for it:
- Couldn't find a working feed for /feeds/newsworld/wcmc but the site seems to be up.
- Updated the feed for /feeds/newseurope/cost to http://www.cost.eu/rss/feed/news
- Can't find proper feed for EU CHM except for this one: https://www.cbd.int/rss/news.aspx
It appears to have a couple of the elements from the previous feed. If there is a better alternative I have yet to find it.
- Can't find proper feed for Euractiv and I replaced it to http://www.euractiv.com/feed/?post_tag=biodiversity
This needs to be checked in order to confirm that it is the correct one.
Some other possibilities are:
Until the new feeds are confirmed/found I have removed the following 4 from the auto-update: 'CHM DE', 'WCMC', 'EURACTIV', 'EU CHM'

From last check on BISE, the EURACTIVE feed now clutters the European news.
It does not seem to be targeted enough despite the parameter you defined.
Most of the news from that source are not biodiversity related.
Example: 10/05/2017 Italy builds new detention centres to speed up migrant déportations
Can it be fixed somehow ?
Also noticed the news include the current day now, which is nice.
Before, it was just news from previous days if I remember well.
